Who should attend?

| Purpose: This course has been designed as a hands-on course combined with some simple theory. We have structured this course to meet the needs of people involved with the processing of secondary forest products. Including: moulder operators, supervisors, and especially personnel who work in the grinding rooms |

Instructor: The instructor for this three-day course will be Bobby Ammerman, Extension Associate, University of Kentucky. Bobby is a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelors degree in Industrial Technology where he specialized in Wood Products Manufacturing. Bobby is also a graduate of Michael Weinig's Moulding Tech-School and has managed moulding operations for seven year |

| Purpose: This week long hands-on course has been designed to provide basic instruction on CNC operations. Instructions will include overview of CNC routers, the use of cad/cam to generate code, programming manually using G&M Codes, and tooling. |
Who should attend: This short course is designed for persons just getting started with CNC equipment or business who are planning on purchasing CNC equipment in the near future. This course is a "must attend" for those who want to create a manufacturing process from the drafting of components to the final machining processes. This course will combine theory and manufacturing processes in an easily understandable atmosphere, where all questions are considered important and hands-on solutions are the norm. Participants are encouraged to bring their "real world" ideas and plans so that they can work on them during this course. |
